The SENSE Technology
SENSE is the consumer version of Nemesysco's LVA (Layered Voice Analysis) technology, originally developed in 1997 for security-related purposes. While LVA was designed to identify emotional situations associated with more formal investigations, SENSE has been adapted to identify the emotional make-up of an individual during regular day to day situations.
Using a series of patented signal processing algorithms, SENSE analyzes the voice of an individual to detect various degrees of stress, cognitive processes and emotional reactions. Together, these comprise a snapshot of what we call the "emotional structure" of an individual at the time of voice capture. While SENSE utilizes a subset of LVA's analytical parameters, the technology is based on the same core mathematical engine.
Nemesysco's SENSE is a "Poly-Layer" voice analysis technology which utilizes information from over 120 vocal parameters to identify various mental states such as whether your subject is excited, confused, stressed, concentrating, embarassed, anticipating your responses, or unwillingly sharing information. The technology also can provide an in-depth view of the subject's range of emotions, including those relating to "love."
